The Ashoka Advantage: 2012 Executive in Residence Program
Who says there’s no bridge between the corporate and social sectors? Since 2009, Ashoka's Executive in Residence Program has found ways to blend profits with purpose. The program introduces corporate executives to leading social innovators in order to help them finish short-term, high-impact projects in communities around the world.
“It's inspiring to work with folks who really think of themselves as entrepreneurs in social settings,” said Nicholas A. LeCuyer, vice president of strategy and distribution at Western Union Digital Ventures. He was paired with Rodrigo Baggio, founder of the Center for Digital Inclusion (CDI), to help the Brazilian Ashoka Fellow with shared value strategies and leadership development initiatives.
